Guided Relaxation

Guided Relaxation allows you to experience deep relaxation, tension release, and a state of physical and mental calm.  It does this by focusing on breathing, being mindful of the state of your body, relaxing tense muscles, and meditating to calm your thoughts.

Practicing this kind of relaxation regularly helps you to feel calmer, more relaxed, and better able to withstand stress.

How I do it:

I start the same way as other massage treatments (breathing and muscle group stretching) to help you relax enough to move on to the main focus of this treatment – visualisation.

Visualisation is using images of things you really enjoy to help you forget about all the things you should be doing when you get back out into the world.  Choosing the right images for you is very important and something I do in the initial Consultation Stage of treatment.
